I’m Anna
Welcome to The Baker’s Wife. At this point, I really have no idea what I’m going to be doing with this site, but I’ve been told I’m a good writer, (whateve that means), so I’m thinking I’ll just be sharing stories from my life here in Zitsa, a 300-person village in the northwest of Greece not far from the Albanian border.
I’ve been waiting many years for “permission” to create a blog, but suddenly realized no one except myself can give it to me and I don’t actually have to please anyone else with my writing. Read along if you want, or don’t. I know I still have a LOT to learn about life and other people, and I’m VERY open to kind criticism and being educated on things I pretend to know about but actually don’t. So feel free to leave comments or message me (the key word from above being KIND – I never intentionally try to hurt others with my words, but I also can be a bit naive at times, so please do tell me when I’m wrong – again, kindly!)
